    Never disappoints. I typically go elsewhere that's located in a diff city as it's my all time fav and I'm very picky with sushi, though Aozora has filled that craving. Even when they're busy the staff is quick and friendly (may not seem so with the rush but they all exceed and work hard). The sushi is tasty and fresh to me. I do wish they had more seared options because it brings out the flavors. As far as the interior...simple while music does play a bit loudly it doesn't ruin anything. Music brings out some good enemy anyhow. Wishing this location continued success!

    Their Ninja roll is one of the BEST rolls I have ever had. The Mizo soup is great too. You will love their food. And it's not snooty. It's a family place

    There's not a whole lot of sushi options in Grass Valley. We are so grateful for Aozora because it checks all the boxes. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, good prices. Usually wins out over the boujie overpriced places in Nevada City.
